Keep your U.S. Representative off harmful ASA Legislation

As we speak, the ASA is continuing to spread falsehoods on Capitol Hill – telling members of Congress that CRNAs are dangerous for patients and claiming that we are attempting to remove all physician anesthesiologists from the VA. Unfortunately, their tactics have paid off for them in 40 Congressional districts. Fortunately, your Representative is not a cosponsor… yet.

If you have not already, please follow the instructions below to ask your U.S. Representative to oppose the misleadingly named “Protect Lifesaving Anesthesia Care for Veterans Act” (H.R. 3347) today. This ASA-backed legislation, which is not based on any scientific or clinical evidence, will harm our veterans’ access to high-quality anesthesia services by severely limiting CRNA practice within the VA.

It is critical that your Representative hears that you – a constituent and a voter – are strongly opposed to this harmful bill so that they do not add their name to the list of cosponsors.
