Use the Template Letters and Find the Right Contacts to Send Your Letters Today
As part of efforts to urge UnitedHealthcare (UHC) to reverse its recent harmful policy which would reduce reimbursement for QZ services provided by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) by 15%, lowering it to 85% of the physician fee schedule, effective October 1, 2025, we are calling on all members to send letters to key health leaders in their state.
States excluded from this policy include Arkansas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Wyoming. We’ve provided template letters—now it’s time to get it into the right hands. This one-pager shows you how.
Who Should Receive Your Letter?
We’re asking you to send the letters to the President or Executive Director of each of the following organizations in your state:
- State Hospital Association
- State Ambulatory Surgery Center Association
- State Rural Health Association
- State Health Insurance Commissioner
These leaders have strong voices and can amplify our concerns with UHC directly.
